About the Role

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you’ll provide high‑quality respiratory care to patients across the lifespan—from newborns to geriatrics—in a fast‑paced emergency setting. You’ll partner closely with physicians and clinical teams to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ER respiratory therapies and oxygen administration per policy
• Assist with endotracheal intubation and extubation
• Manage mechanical ventilation (adult, pediatric, and neonatal)
• Perform and analyze arterial blood gases (radial, brachial, femoral, capillary)
• Insert IVs and draw lab work
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and perform 12‑lead EKGs

Education & Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Florida RRT License (Department of Health)
• BLS, ACLS & PALS (AHA)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
