Position Summary:
To establish guidelines for the position of Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Nurse. The Cardiac Rehabilitation program will maintain a high quality of care by staffing Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Nurses who have expertise in cardiovascular specialty areas of nursing. The roles of the Nurse will consist of but not limited to clinician, teacher, consultant and researcher.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Minimum Experience/Skills:
Two years of recent critical care experience or previous cardiac rehab experience
Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:
Current California Registered Nursing Licensure
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Critical Care/Coronary Care course preferred
