We are looking for Registered Nurses who are passionate about quality care and teamwork to join our team with the Ambulatory Surgery Center at the Plaza. As a member of the perioperative team, you will collaborate with Physicians, CRNAs, Surgical Technologists and other professionals to deliver high-quality care before, during and after surgery.
Responsibilities include:
- Interviewing and assessing patients’ physical, psychosocial and holistic needs to plan, implement and evaluate patient-focused care.
- Reviewing surgeons’ pre-requisites and test results, communicating abnormalities and/or omissions to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborating and coordinating care with other health care team members to promote quality outcomes.
- Utilizing nursing processes to identify individual patient needs, including education and care planning.
- Adapting calmly to unexpected events such as emergency surgeries, changes in patient condition or equipment issues.
- Ensuring accurate and complete perioperative documentation in alignment with Perioperative Outcomes Standards.
Schedule:
- Full-time | 72-80 hours every two weeks | Plaza Surgery Center
- Monday – Friday | Various 8 – 10-hour shifts between 5:00am – 7:00pm
- No weekends or holidays!
Pay and Benefits
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour
- Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour
- Master’s in nursing starting at $43.43 per hour
- Pay range: $41.34 - $62.01 per hour

Qualifications:
- Graduate from a nursing program, Bachelor’s or Master’s in nursing preferred
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing required within 3 years of hire
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Knowledge of nursing standards, policies, procedures, and ethics
- National Certification in a Nursing Specialty preferred
- Previous experience in perioperative or surgical departments preferred
