Role Description

This is a Part-time, Registered Nurse Hybrid role based in Albuquerque, NM. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing medical oversight, assessments, and care coordination for individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Tasks include overnight and weekend on-call, monitoring health status, supervising staff in medical-related procedures, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role will require collaboration with direct care and administrative staff, nursing supervisor, clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal health outcomes. Mostly a remote positions but some occasional in person will be required.


Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing in the state of New Mexico
  • Proficiency in conducting health assessments, developing care plans, and administering medications
  • Ability to be oncall and available via phone and text nights, overnights, weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating with clients, families, and care teams
  • Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs and regulatory compliance in the healthcare field a plus
  • Adaptability to work in a hybrid healthcare environment and provide person-centered care
  • Proficient in documentation and record-keeping to maintain accurate and timely reports
  • Compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting individuals with diverse needs
  • CPR and First Aid certification (required)
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred
  • BLS Certification Required
