About the Role:  As Regional Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving growth, building strong retail partnerships, and increasing brand pres

ence across key markets in the region. You will act as a strategic thinker, managing retail accounts, working with distributors and food brokers, and overseeing sales execution with a focus on ethnic and mainstream grocery and wholesale channels. This role also involves maintaining accurate invoicing and accounts receivable (AR) tracking to support healthy business operations. 


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Execute regional sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets for Vijay Home Foods batter, spiced powders, Arun Ice Cream and other products as and when launched. 
  • Build long-term relationships with key retail accounts, distributors, independent stores, and ethnic grocery chains along with wholesale chains 
  • Manage customer invoicing, ensure timely submission of delivery slips, and maintain AR records in coordination with internal teams. 
  • Monitor accounts receivable status for assigned accounts and assist in following up on outstanding payments. 
  • Conduct regular market visits, store audits to ensure brand visibility and execution. 
  • Confidently present and educate customers on Vijay Home Foods product portfolio, USPs, usage ideas, and promotional opportunities. 
  • Collect product feedback, customer feedback and communicate the same to internal teams to foster sales. 
  • Identify opportunities to expand product placement in ethnic and mainstream channels. 
  • Drive execution of trade promotions, seasonal programs, and in-store activations in coordination with marketing and operations teams. 
  • Analyze sales data and provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and insights to leadership. 
  • Submit daily reports summarizing store visits, key discussions, observations, and action items. 


Qualifications: 


  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred. 
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, preferably in retail grocery sales. 
  • Experience working with Asian Indian products a plus.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience managing regional accounts or territory sales in the grocery/CPG space. 
  • Prior experience with ethnic food products or specialty food categories is a strong advantage. 
  • Experience working with food brokers, distributors, and independent retailers. 
  • Proven success in sales negotiations, account management, and delivering revenue targets. 
  • Experience in maintaining invoicing records and accounts receivable tracking. 
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills related to financial documentation and payment collections. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CRM or ERP system familiarity is a plus. 
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote, field-based role. 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; willingness to travel regionally 80% or more, including overnight travel.

Salary:

$52,000/yearly + Incentives
