Regional EHS Manager [GD-14885]

A global life sciences organization is looking for a Sr. Regional EHS Manager to provide strategic and operational EHS leadership across multiple California sites.

*This position does not offer relocation and requires candidates be based locally*

Based in the San Jose CA area, this is a visible, high‑impact role responsible for driving regulatory excellence, environmental stewardship, and a strong enterprise‑wide safety culture within a complex, regulated environment. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to site and functional leadership, balancing hands‑on execution with strategic influence.

Scope of responsibility includes:

• Regional ownership of California EHS programs, including Cal/OSHA, OSHA, and EPA compliance
• Oversight of hazardous materials, waste, and environmental permitting programs (DTSC, CUPA, RCRA)
• Leadership of audits, incident investigations, and corrective action programs
• Coaching and mentoring leaders to elevate EHS performance and culture

Ideal profile:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience
• Deep expertise in California regulatory requirements
• CSP, CIH, or equivalent professional certification preferred
• Experience supporting large, multi‑site or GMP‑regulated operations
