Safety sensitive position regulated by the Dept. of Transportation due to Commercial Driver's License requirement, responsible for becoming qualified and operating as part of a crew and/or driving multiple solid-waste collection trucks, dump trucks, or any other equipment associated with the department. Performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment. Public service-oriented personality a must.
Starting pay $22.9444/hr.

Primary essential functions include but are not limited to;
- Drives large vehicles/equipment, including but not limited to; refuse packer truck, or truck equipped with hydraulic lifting device;
- Transports refuse collectors, leaf rakers, on designated routes;
- Operates automated trash cart lifting device on truck;
- Unloads refuse truck;
- Performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
Required at Time of Application:.
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid CDL, Class B or higher
Experience as a CDL driver is
preferred but not required.
