Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Minimum 4+ years of recruiting or HR experience
- Experience supporting hiring efforts within construction strongly preferred (architecture/engineering backgrounds also considered)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and Word) and HR systems/databases
- Ability to influence hiring decisions and provide guidance to leadership
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on active listening
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on documentation and process
- Stable work history preferred

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for a Talent Acquisition Specialist II to support hiring initiatives within a fast-growing construction environment. This individual will partner closely with leadership to identify staffing needs, drive recruiting strategies, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary recruiting partner for assigned business units, building strong relationships with hiring managers
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast hiring needs and establish recruiting priorities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract high-quality and diverse talent
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
- Conduct regular check-ins with stakeholders to provide updates on hiring progress and market insights
- Support the creation and execution of structured hiring and selection processes
- Coordinate with external recruiting partners when needed
- Perform reference checks and facilitate offer development and delivery
- Leverage multiple recruiting channels including direct outreach, networking events, and online platforms
- Connect employees and candidates with internal resources as needed (benefits, compliance programs, etc.)
