Brayman Construction Corporation in Saxonburg, PA is looking for a driven and dynamic Recruiter to support hiring across our growing construction operations. This role demands a resourceful, competitive, and results-oriented professional capable of handling high-pressure recruitment needs across various construction roles, from hourly to executive-level positions.


This on-site human resources (HR) recruiting position earns a competitive salary. Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and identify top talent in the construction industry using recruiting techniques (networking, social media, referrals, etc.).
  • Develop a pipeline of highly qualified candidates for a range of positions, including project managers, engineers, site supervisors, estimators, and executives.
  • Reach out to passive candidates in the industry, with an emphasis and promote opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals to facilitate ongoing recruitment needs.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and evaluations of candidates, ensuring alignment with client needs and job specifications.
  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, negotiation, and placement.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs, project timelines, and company culture.
  • Provide market insights and advise on hiring strategies, salary expectations, and talent trends within the construction industry.
  • Meet aggressive recruitment targets, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality candidates.
  • Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions, progress, and feedback in the recruitment pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a recruiter in the construction industry is preferred, in-depth knowledge of construction roles, project cycles, and industry-specific talent needs.
  • Aggressive, proactive, and competitive attitude in recruiting, with the ability to meet challenging targets and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with candidates and clients at all levels.
  • Familiarity with various recruiting methods, including cold calling, networking, and social media recruitment.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with experience in managing high-stakes offers and counteroffers.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • A strong network of professionals in the construction sector is a significant advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software tools.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of recruitment activity, particularly for specialized roles.
  • Ability to create and maintain recruitment KPI's

Safety Sensitive Position

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. Team Members will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies due to these safety risks.
