Position Overview


We are seeking a Recruiter to support hiring efforts across a growing manufacturing organization in the Jessup, MD area.


This role will be responsible for building talent pipelines, partnering with hiring managers, attending career fairs and community events, and managing the full recruitment process for a variety of skilled trades, warehouse, and professional positions.


The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and enjoys connecting with candidates while supporting workforce planning initiatives.


This role would pay up to $90K/year and would be hybrid (1-2 days/week to work from home)


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, production, warehouse, maintenance, engineering, and administrative positions
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through networking, sourcing, referrals, and community outreach
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, hiring priorities, and workforce plans
  • Attend career fairs, trade school events, job fairs, and community networking events to attract qualified candidates
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and direct outreach
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Track recruiting activity and candidate pipelines within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support employer branding initiatives and recruiting marketing efforts
  • Develop relationships with local colleges, technical schools, workforce development organizations, and community partners


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or skilled trades environments
  • Experience building talent pipelines and sourcing passive candidates
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and providing recruiting guidance
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, and major job boards
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
