Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our growing team in Nutfield. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for attracting and recruiting caring and empathetic care professionals to enable us to help support even more seniors in our local community. As our Recruiter, you will maintain a candidate-focused approach throughout the entire recruitment process. Your analytical mindset, combined with your empathetic nature, will enable you to build meaningful relationships with both candidates and internal teams, driving our organisation's success through exceptional talent acquisition.
- Source, identify, and screen candidates using a variety of channels including job boards, social media, networking, job fairs and direct outreach to build a robust talent pipeline
- Conduct initial telephone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability, experience, and cultural fit with transparent and professional communication
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job specification development through to offer negotiation and candidate induction
- Liaise with our scheduler and HR manager to understand role requirements, competencies, and team dynamics, ensuring alignment throughout the recruitment process
- Utilise Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment databases efficiently to maintain organised candidate records and track progress
- Analyse recruitment metrics and data to identify trends, optimise processes, and improve time-to-hire and quality-of-hire outcomes
- Coordinate and chair interviews.
- Maintain knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and best practice in recruitment to ensure all processes are conducted ethically and legally
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with candidates, creating a positive employer brand and encouraging referrals
- Remain resilient and flexible in a fast-paced environment, managing vacancies whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance recruitment strategies, improve candidate experience, and streamline operational efficiency
- Support team members and collaborate on complex recruitment challenges, demonstrating a supportive and inclusive approach
Qualifications
**Required Skills and Experience:**
- Proven experience of 2+ years in health or social care recruitment.
- Demonstrable experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from vacancy creation to candidate onboarding
- Strong people skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment databases
- Competent time keeping and organisational abilities, with capacity to manage multiple concurrent vacancies
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret recruitment data and identify process improvements
- Experience in candidate sourcing using multiple channels and platforms
- Proven negotiation and relationship-building capabilities
**Desirable Skills and Experience:**
- Familiarity with social media recruitment and digital sourcing strategies
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems
- Experience recruiting in the domiciliary care sector
- Understanding of market trends and competitive salary benchmarking
