This role offers the opportunity to work directly with a top‑tier Real Estate department head and partners on complex, high‑value transactions across asset classes, with meaningful responsibility and hands‑on client exposure.
The Practice
The Real Estate group handles a broad range of sophisticated transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and equity structures for investors, developers, and institutional clients. The practice is particularly strong in capital markets–driven real estate work and continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements
- Draft and negotiate loan and financing documentation
- Handle real estate capital markets transactions, including:
- Joint venture and operating agreements
- Syndication structures
- Preferred equity arrangements
- Related entity and governance documents
- Manage transactions from inception through closing
- Work closely with partners, clients, and deal teams to keep matters moving efficiently and strategically
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4–7 years of real estate transactional experience
- Strong background in purchase & sale and financing work
- Experience from a large law firm or highly respected real estate practice strongly preferred
- Significant bonus for candidates with experience drafting:
- Joint venture operating agreements
- Syndication agreements
- Preferred equity documentation
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client‑facing skills
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling multiple deals simultaneously

- Billable Hour Requirement: 1,800 hours
- Compensation: $225,000 - $275,000 annually
