Position Purpose

Under the direction of a board-certified radiologist. Performs, CT and radiographic procedures of various complexities on infant, child, adolescent, adult, and later adult patients, ensuring the product of quality images of all appropriate anatomical structures for interpretation by the responsible radiologist.

What you will do

  • Radiologic Technologist 2 (Computed Tomography (CT), and X-Ray) is a highly skilled professional who uses mammography, computed tomography, and radiographic equipment to produce images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.
  • A Rad Tech 2 provides screening and diagnostic procedures to a variety of patients in an outpatient facility. A Rad Tech 2 is also able to perform radiographic procedures of various complexities on infant, child, adolescent, adult and later adult patients, ensuring the product of quality images of all appropriate anatomical structures for interpretation by the responsible radiologist.
  • Provides diagnostic CT procedures to a variety of patients in the emergency unit, surgical unit, and critical care and inpatient units and will assist interventional radiology when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred.
  • Licensure: Radiographer. ARRT: Registered CT, Mammography and Radiologic Technologist.
  • Certification: BLS.
