Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• Washington state radiologic technologist license required at time of submittal.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical radiography experience required. Travel candidates expected to cover general radiography, fluoroscopy, OR, and portables.
• Experience operating C-arm and O-arm equipment preferred.
• Experience in Emergency Room imaging preferred.
• Experience with Cerner PowerChart, GE Centricity RIS, and Philips Intellispace PACS preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift pattern: 5x8 variable shifts with weekends, call, and holidays as needed.
• Orientation: 12 hours departmental orientation with a week of area rotations.
• Department: Radiology (General radiography, fluoroscopy, OR, portables).
• Charting system: Cerner.
• Department equipment: Philips DR/CR x-ray rooms, GE DR portables (7 units), Ziehm and GE/OEC C-arms, Siemens O-arm.
• Floating/coverage: Must cover General Radiology, outpatient clinic, inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopy, outpatient ortho clinic, ER, CCU fluoro/xray room, and OR (34 rooms). Techs scheduled in one area and rotate weekly; may be moved to cover other areas.
• Average volumes: General x-rays ~73/day, Fluoro ~10 exams/day, OR C-arm cases ~6–7/day.
