Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X‑Ray Technologist to our team where you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration required. Radiology state license preferred where applicable; note ARRT certification in CT is required for CT imaging tasks at this facility.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience with demonstrated competency in required skills. Strong applicants with 1 year of experience will be considered if they have proven skills listed below.
• Fluoroscopy experience required.
• Surgical radiography experience required, including portable and trauma imaging.
• CT experience required for relevant shifts. Required CT skills: angiogram procedures and trauma imaging. Stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred. CT-guided biopsy and drainage experience preferred.
• Experience working with EMR systems, specifically Cerner preferred.
• Ability and willingness to float within the radiology department to different work areas throughout the hospital.
• Must be able to work inpatient and outpatient populations, adult and occasional pediatric patients in ED settings.
• Preferred: MRI registry, DEXA experience, and O‑arm experience.

• Schedule format: 4x10 (mid shift schedule).
• Orientation: 1 eight-hour hospital orientation plus 2–3 unit shifts (dayshift with another tech).
• Weekend rotation: Yes, typically once a month.
• On-call: Yes, voluntary.
• Patient ratio: 1:1 clinical assignment; volume varies, average about 4 patients per hour (approximately 40 patients per day).
• Floating: Yes. Floating throughout the radiology department to cover different areas.
