Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Valid Wisconsin radiologic technologist license.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care or surgical radiography experience preferred; facility requests 2 years of acute or surgical experience.
  • Experience with surgical/procedural radiography, portables, and general radiography in a mid-to-high level hospital environment.
  • Fluoroscopy experience preferred, including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases.
  • Operating room experience preferred, including orthopedic, general, and spine cases; familiarity with O-arm equipment is preferred.
  • Comfort working with inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and procedural patient populations across all age ranges.
  • Ability to complete a 7-day department orientation (NEO).
  • Preferred: prior experience at a Level III trauma center, NICU, or large tertiary hospital setting.

Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • City, State: Milwaukee, WI.
  • Duration: 12 week travel assignment.
  • Standard hours per week: 40.
  • Unit profile: Diagnostic and procedural imaging. Department includes diagnostic rooms, fluoroscopy rooms, video swallow, pain clinic rooms, and dental room.
  • Average daily census: approximately 15–20 patients per technologist.
  • Orientation: 7 days in department.
  • On-call requirement: Yes. One call shift per week. Call structure includes first call 06:30–14:00, second call 14:00–22:30, third call 22:30–06:30.
  • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend.
  • Holiday expectation: One holiday per contract.
  • Floating: No floating to other facilities.
  • Department support: Lead tech on first shift. Radiologist on site 24/7. Hospitalist and intensivist coverage 24/7.
  • Technology/EHR: EPIC EMR. PACS: McKesson. X-ray equipment: GE, Fuji, Del Medical. C-arm: GE 9900 and Elites; Medtronic O-arm available.
