Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required. MRI certification required per client.
• IEMA licensure required.
• BLS certification required. CPR certification required.
• Maintain IV/contrast competency.
• Technical experience: 1 year preferred.
• Experience performing MRI and using PACS systems.
• Experience working independently in an X-ray department; no OR or fluoroscopy responsibilities for this role.
• Ability to assist with clerical and office duties to maintain department efficiency.
• Client-specific emergency department and unit requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS are required for Emergency Department coverage; NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS required for ICU and PCU coverage; BLS and NIHSS required for Acute Rehab. These are client requirements to maintain while on assignment.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech (preferred, not required).

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift name: Mid Shift.
• Weekend requirement: Every weekend required. Weekend midnights are Friday–Sunday 1900–0730.
• No call required.
• Role responsibilities: Performs MRI, utilizes PACS correctly, maintains IV/contrast competency, assists with clerical duties. No OR or fluoro duties. Will work alone in x-ray during shifts.
• Assignment length: 13 week contract.
