Our client, a leading organization in scientific and technical research, is seeking a R&D Technician to join their team. As a R&D Technician, you will be part of the Product Development department supporting innovation and renovation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: R&D Technician

Location: Warrendale, PA

Pay Range: $27.00/hr

Shift: Monday thru Friday Daylight

What's the Job?

  • Conduct analytical measurements of product and packaging in a laboratory environment using various equipment.
  • Accurately record, transpose, and manipulate data to ensure integrity and quality of results.
  • Support development and commercialization of new and improved products through active management of laboratory ingredient inventory, sanitation, and sample shipping/receiving.
  • Assist Food Scientists with experiments in the lab and pilot plant, including pre-weighing ingredients, processing, packing formulas, labeling, and case-packing.
  • Facilitate activities such as sample preparation, product shelf-life evaluation, and technical support for initial factory production.

What's Needed?

  • Good communication skills, attention to detail, and strong critical thinking and investigation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and development.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Familiarity with MS365 Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
  • Associate or B.S. degree in STEM fields such as Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
