Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
The Quality Technician conducts food safety and quality inspections throughout specific production processes to ensure compliance with established standards. This role maintains accurate records for HACCP, SSOP, and quality standards, supports plant quality initiatives, and contributes to achieving department goals and objectives. The position plays a key part in identifying and reporting critical quality defects, supporting a zero-product-defect philosophy, and performing additional quality-related tasks as assigned.

Work Environment
The role is based in a cold and wet production environment maintained at approximately 42 degrees, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and food safety. The facility operates as a clean environment where strict hygiene standards apply, including no nail polish and the use of a hair net, provided coat, mask, and gloves. Work involves standing for extended periods and performing tasks on or around production lines in a seafood or food production setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
