Quality Technician

We are looking for a talented Quality Technician to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Clovis, NM.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Support production and inspection activities by working closely with Engineers to ensure products meet defined quality and performance standards. 
  • Monitor material quality within processing operations, identifying issues and supporting necessary adjustments to maintain consistent output. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records that support traceability, compliance, and effective quality reporting. 
  • Identify defects by comparing physical characteristics of components, materials, and equipment against technical specifications. 
  • Conduct basic functional, reliability, and packaging tests, recording results and preparing clear, straightforward technical reports. 
  • Perform product and component testing using a variety of measurement and inspection equipment to validate conformance. 
  • Assist internal and external customers in understanding product specifications and interpreting measurement data for proper application. 
  • Ensure measurement accuracy by supporting calibration, maintenance of test equipment, and participating in measurement uncertainty studies.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
