Our client is looking for a Quality Manager for their Oxnard facility.


Our client is looking for a Quality Manager who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving quality, improving processes, and making a visible impact across operations.


The Quality Manager is responsible for supporting and maintaining quality standards across production operations. This role works closely with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure products meet required specifications and customer expectations.


The Quality Manager will oversee inspection activities, support quality control processes, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. This position is designed as a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to grow into a Quality Manager as the facility expands.


Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with inspection processes, quality documentation, and root cause analysis preferred
  • Experience in printing, packaging, plastics, or consumer product manufacturing is a plus.


Education

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred


Quality Control & Inspection Oversight

  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Develop and maintain inspection procedures and quality documentation
  • Ensure inspection results are properly recorded and communicated to relevant teams
  • Monitor production quality performance and identify trends or recurring issues
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure work instructions and quality standards are followed
  • Provide guidance to operators and team leaders regarding quality expectations and inspection requirements
  • Assist with first article inspections and process validations when needed

Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions

  • Investigate quality issues and customer complaints in coordination with Production and Engineering teams
  • Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Track quality improvement initiatives and verify effectiveness of corrective measures

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve product quality and reduce defects
  • Support implementation of quality improvement and process control initiatives
  • Assist with development of standard operating procedures and quality best practices

Quality Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and internal tracking systems
  • Monitor quality metrics and provide regular reports to Operations leadership
  • Support internal audits and quality system compliance
