Quality Manager – Automotive Manufacturing (JD6652)

Southeast Michigan

We’re working with a growing automotive manufacturer in Southeast Michigan that is looking to bring on a Quality Manager to lead plant-level quality and help elevate overall performance.

This role will have direct visibility to plant leadership and will play a key part in improving quality systems, strengthening team capability, and driving better customer outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the day-to-day quality function within a manufacturing environment
• Work closely with operations and engineering to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer-related quality concerns
• Drive continuous improvement efforts across the plant, including corrective actions and process enhancements
• Maintain and improve quality systems aligned with IATF 16949 / ISO standards
• Build and develop a strong quality team through coaching, accountability, and structure
• Track key quality metrics and use data to drive decision-making

What They’re Looking For

• Experience leading quality in an automotive or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of IATF 16949, core tools, and quality systems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven setting
• Proven ability to manage customer issues and drive resolution
• Leadership experience with the ability to build and improve teams
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
