Job Description
Join our team as a Quality Lab Technician, where you will be an integral part of the magnet wire testing laboratory. You will perform quality tests on magnet wire, assist in preparing enamels and lubricants, and ensure raw materials meet specifications. This role involves using chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments while adhering to quality management systems. Specializing in applying electrically insulating varnish or enamel to aluminum or copper wire used in electrical machinery, this company produces high-quality wires in large plants.

Work Environment
Training with 1st shift Sr. QA Tech for several weeks. Work is conducted on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday (7am-4pm or 8am-5pm). The dress code is relaxed/casual with boots, and PPE such as lab coats, gloves, and glasses are provided. The team size is 8. This company is a global leading supplier of magnet wire with 16 global facilities and over 2,300 employees, supporting the automotive, energy, industrial, and commercial and residential industries. The individual in this role will be at the chemical processing facility conducting quality assurance/quality control responsibilities.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
