THE WORK
• Perform the following inspection tasks on components listed on training Competency Sheet:
o Evaluation Inspection
o Final Inspection
• Perform the following inspection tasks as assigned on all components worked in the facility:
o Receiving Inspections
o Preliminary Inspections
o In-Process Inspections
• Use precision measuring instruments and gages such as feeler gages, dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Evaluate the repair work performed within our facility or sent to outside sources for completeness and compliance to technical data.
• Follow procedures found in component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, ORI’s, OREI’s, drawings, check sheets, etc.
• Review and interpret related paperwork to ensure proper identification of parts, operational sequence and recorded information on appropriate documentation.
• Interpret documentation received with incoming cores to determine adequate traceability and history.
• Research compliance requirements of components in work using AD’s, ASB’s, and other technical data.
• Must know where to find technical data such as operation sheets, manuals, ASB’s, ORI’s, OREI’s and blueprints.
• Must be competent in the use of torque wrenches and have a complete understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300.
• Filing and archiving of records
• Adhere to all EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.
• Tag and report to TPM Manager any equipment that is unsafe or requires maintenance.
• Segregate hazardous waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
• Work occasional overtime as required to support business requirements.
This is a safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. DOT’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require that you participate in a
drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine - Amphetamines - Phencyclidine or a metabolite of these drugs.

Basic Qualifications:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License

High‑school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of inspection/quality‑control experience on aerospace components or a related field.

Competent in performing evaluation, final, receiving, preliminary, and in‑process inspections on a variety of components.

Skilled at evaluating repair work for completeness and compliance to technical data.
Desired Skills:
* FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
* Working experience as an Aircraft Technician in an overhaul and repair environment
* Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
* Knowledge of AS9100 requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
