ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform inspections on components, purchased parts, and/or finished products as required
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents
- Review inspection records received for compliance
- Maintain inspection and measuring equipment
- Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for non-conforming parts
- Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery
- Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards
FACILITY/GROUP -SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS
- Supports and contributes to facility goals
- Provide feedback on process improvements, cost savings, and opportunities for efficiency and safety
- Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments
- Ontime attendance and timeliness
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug/physical test
EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ yrs. Knowledge of standard measurement equipment and inspection processes such as Micrometers and Calipers.
- Three or more years of related experience and/or training preferred
- Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints
- Demonstrable experience of computer literacy and use of Microsoft Office programs
- Non-destructive inspection experience a plus
