Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Duration: 06 months contract
Location: Englewood, CO 80112
Pay Rate: $20.00 – 21.00/hr on W2
Description:
The work of the position will range from component inspection to inventory control activities, with the team member being responsible for accepting product through incoming shipments, inspecting, filing paperwork, and physically moving and shipping product when complete.
With direction from the Supervisor(s) work could be in either one of the areas during the course of a day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive inspection of materials, work in progress, finished parts and assemblies and completion of associate paper work for final release of product to field.
- Accurately log and assign incoming inspection numbers to received materials.
- Create labels for materials as they move through the inspection process (receiving, quarantine, accepted, rejected).
- Physically move inventory into receiving area, quarantine area, warehouse, and out to suppliers.
- Using web-based software to create shipping documents.
- Physically prepare items for shipping (boxes, pallets, etc)
- Using web portals, schedule pick-ups and deliveries of materials between various locations.
- Coordinate activities of outside suppliers in the accomplishment of sterilization related testing activities.
- Assist with requests related to inventory counts and fulfillment.
Expected areas of competence for the inventory clerk role:
- Use MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to open files and perform data entry tasks.
- Use of web-based portals.
Skills:
- General areas of competence:
- Experience with Gages, micrometers, calipers, gage pins, dial indicators, etc.
- Basic understanding of print reading and GD&T per ANSY Y14.5.
- Computer literate with intermediate familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with 21CFR part 820/ISO 13485 or other government/ISO standards.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to foster positive relationships with all internal and external (sales) personnel.
- Results oriented with the ability to accomplish work in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work unsupervised on assigned tasks.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, especially in the areas of process improvement and problem solving.
Education:
Education / Experience:
- High school Diploma or GED required plus three to five years of experience as a Quality Inspector or as a manufacturing Operator or Assembler, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in an inspection department for a GMP, or other regulated industry, is a plus.
- Experience in material handling a plus.
