What you will do:
- Drive New Product Excellence: Develop and implement inspection and sampling plans for new products and second supplier qualifications.
- Manage Quality Documentation: Govern document change control processes to ensure the latest approved versions of technical specifications are in circulation.
- Lead Investigations: Direct root cause analysis for customer complaints, supplier nonconformities, and internal manufacturing failures to prevent recurrence.
- Analyze Performance Data: Identify and collect quality data to perform Cost of Quality (COQ) studies and maintain KPIs for management reviews.
- Review Engineering Standards: Act as the Quality representative for the review and approval of engineering drawings.
Who you are:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical degree.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience is preferred, with a strong background in quality systems and risk management principles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in statistical confidence levels, process capability, and technical writing. Familiarity with CAD, Minitab, and dimensional measuring equipment is a plus.
- Mindset: An analytical thinker who is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in both independent and team environments.
- Requirements: Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
