Quality Engineer [ML-14805]

An international aerospace manufacturing firm is seeking Quality Engineers to implement and maintain AS 9100 quality requirements across existing and future projects. The Engineer will work with the team to enhance the quality of the product by ensuring quality, reducing cost, and increasing product efficiency and effectiveness.

The role:

• Review all quality documents to determine applicability and assess compliance with customer specifications, contractual requirements, and company operations.
• Interface with customers regularly to build and maintain a stable working relationship while maintaining required standard procedures according to all requirements.
• Review shop planning for adequate inspection points within the manufacturing processes.
• Review and validate all costs to ensure limited waste.
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and standards.

The candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management or related field.
• At least three years of experience as a quality engineer, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office Suite.
• Thorough understanding of industry standards.
