Among other investments, EAH has recently completed a significant facility expansion at its primary distribution center and is in the process of implementing enterprise-level ERP / WMS / OMS systems.


Led by an experienced and capable management team, EAH generates strong profitability and has consistently delivered above-market organic growth across economic cycles. The role described below is with Texas Speed and Performance (TSP), located in Georgetown, TX.

This is a full-time opportunity that reports to the Quality Manager at our Wadsworth, OH facility.


Position Description

Our ideal candidate is an automotive enthusiast with strong leadership characteristics and excellent communication skills. You should have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and resolve problems with a positive attitude. This individual should have strong attention to detail and a constant pursuit of "raising the bar." A self-motivated team player with excellent time-management skills who can identify tasks without supervision will excel in this role.

As the primary contact for manufacturing partners regarding quality issues for the Texas Speed brand, you must have a thorough understanding of quality management systems prior to joining the TSP team. This individual will be the primary contact to our manufacturing partners for any quality issues found on in-house designed and manufactured product for the Texas Speed brand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of in-house developed components to ensure compliance with EAH brand standards, engineering drawings, and print specifications.
  • Lead investigations into product and process non-conformances related to internally developed parts; implement effective containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Partner directly with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues and develop sustainable corrective action plans that ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Negotiate and secure credits or replacements for non-conforming parts while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with manufacturing partners.
  • Identify print discrepancies and collaborate with the engineering team to recommend design updates, tolerance adjustments, and other enhancements to improve part quality and manufacturability.
  • Support coordination and monitoring of inventory logistics to ensure quality alignment across receiving, storage, and fulfillment operations.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and procedures to ensure all externally manufactured products meet engineering and brand requirements.
  • Identify and implement upgrades to equipment, tooling, and software necessary to drive continuous process improvement across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial) with a minimum of 1-3 years quality engineering experience in a professional capacity – OR – Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a minimum 2-4 years quality engineering experience in a professional capacity
  • An understanding of drafting standards and basic manufacturing processes
  • Basic understanding of inspection techniques, including CMM and manual measurements with associated statistical analysis
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel or related spreadsheet software
  • Ability to lead with a strong interest in positively impacting change
  • Enthusiasm with a track record for innovative and creative problem solving

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of professional Quality Engineering experience within the automotive or a related high-precision industry.
  • Proven track record in automotive engine machine shops or high-volume CNC manufacturing environments.
  • Expertise in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (TS), or equivalent global Quality Management Systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in CMM programming, with a strong preference for PC-DMIS.
  • Demonstrated success in the implementation, auditing, or continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems.
  • Practical application of LEAN Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Skilled in statistical analysis, including SPC and basic process capability studies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of diverse manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal forming, plastics, and composites.
  • Functional 3D design and drafting capabilities utilizing Solidworks or equivalent CAD software.
  • Expertise in interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in strict accordance with ASME Y14.5.
  • Technical knowledge of metallurgical analysis, failure analysis, and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods.
  • Foundational grasp of engineering principles for suspension, braking, exhaust, forced induction, and drivetrain systems.
  • Deep familiarity with domestic automotive platforms, specifically Chevrolet, Ford, and Mopar.
  • Hands-on mechanical intuition, evidenced by a history of building or modifying personal project vehicles.
  • Technical exposure to high-performance or race-spec engine configurations.
