Quality Assurance Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing process. The role involves inspecting incoming products, working closely with machine operators to validate product accuracy, and completing visual inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance inspections on incoming products.
• Collaborate with machine operators to ensure product cuts are accurate.
• Perform visual inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Utilize gauges and micrometers for precise measurements.
• Gather and interpret prints for product specifications.
• Calibrate measurement equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Partner with production and quality teams to uphold quality assurance processes.

Essential Skills

• Experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in visual inspection techniques.
• Ability to use measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in steel manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with CMM operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, IN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
