Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description
The Quality Control Technician ensures that in-process and finished powder coating products meet all quality standards before release. This role performs a variety of laboratory tests, investigates nonconforming results, and has authority to stop production when products are out of specification. The position offers opportunities for growth, including potential movement into a research and development laboratory environment.

Work Environment
The Quality Control Technician works primarily in a Quality Control office and laboratory setting within a manufacturing facility and regularly goes out to the production floor to collect samples. The role involves working in a powder environment and requires comfort with typical manufacturing conditions. The position follows a night or overnight schedule, including options such as a 12-hour rotating or swing shift and a night shift schedule, with training initially conducted on a first-shift schedule for several weeks depending on learning pace. Occasional weekend work may be required. The dress code is casual, and a lab coat is provided and worn during laboratory work. The role uses laboratory testing equipment, SAP for data entry, and Microsoft Office for documentation and analysis, and requires an onsite presence, including onsite interviews during the hiring process.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.64 - $24.64/hr.
