Quality Control (QC) Manager
Location: Healy, Alaska (Denali National Park Area)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to support a demolition and ground‑up construction project in the Denali National Park area near Healy, Alaska. This individual will serve as the primary Quality Control point of contact for the project and will work closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure all construction activities, materials, and workmanship meet contractual, regulatory, and quality compliance standards.
This role is ideal for a QC professional with a background supporting commercial, industrial, or federal construction projects who is comfortable operating in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the on‑site Quality Control Manager responsible for implementation and enforcement of the project Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Perform daily quality inspections of demolition and new construction activities to verify compliance with contract documents, specifications, and approved submittals.
- Coordinate closely with the Superintendent and Project Team to proactively identify and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure all materials, installations, and workmanship meet established QC and federal compliance standards.
- Conduct and document preparatory, initial, and follow‑up inspections as required.
- Manage deficiency tracking, corrective actions, and verification of completed rework.
- Maintain accurate QC documentation, inspection reports, and quality records.
- Interface with owners, inspectors, and third‑party representatives as required.
- Support safety and environmental compliance efforts in coordination with site leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Control role supporting construction projects.
- Prior experience as a QC Manager, QC Inspector, or Quality Control Point of Contact on commercial, industrial, or federal projects.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, quality standards, and inspection processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with field leadership in an active construction environment.
- Experience supporting federal construction projects is highly preferred.
- USACE CQM Certification (CQM‑C) is a major plus.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work on a remote project site in Alaska.
