Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain quality control standards while ensuring all materials comply with PennDOT, PTC, and industry requirements, supported by accurate QC documentation
• Lead and support QC personnel, ensuring full testing coverage across all locations and coordinating inspections, testing schedules, and equipment calibration
• Provide production support by troubleshooting material performance issues, developing corrective actions, and collaborating with production, dispatch, transportation, sales, and customers
• Analyze QC and production data to identify trends, drive improvements, and enhance process accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain strong cross‑department communication to uphold quality expectations and support continuous improvement across operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Control Technician and 5 years QA management experience in a relevant production or materials environment
• NECEPT Asphalt Plant Level 2 Certification required
• PennDOT Certified Aggregate Technician credential required
• Strong background in quality testing, inspection procedures, and compliance with state and industry standards
