Job Description

The Quality, Compliance & Accreditation Specialist serves as the primary support for the Compliance & Privacy Officer and the Senior Director of Quality, and assists the departments of Quality, Risk Management, Infection Prevention, Employee Health, and Compliance & Privacy with routine departmental functions. This role administers the organizational document management system, coordinates policy review workflows, supports Washington State public hospital district records retention requirements, assists with survey readiness, aggregates data, prepares meeting materials, and provides strengthened administrative and regulatory support to the Compliance & Privacy Officer.

Qualifications

What is required...

  • At least two (2) years of experience in an administrative, HIM, quality, compliance, or regulatory support role in healthcare
  • Experience with document control/policy management systems and version control workflows
  • Foundational understanding of healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements

What is preferred...

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience supporting accreditation readiness (CMS, DNV, Joint Commission) or information governance
  • Experience with WA public hospital district records retention requirements
  • Experience conducting audits and facilitating corrective actions
  • Relevant credentials such as CPHQ, CHC, RHIT/RHIA
Additional Information

Wage:  Wage range currently starts at $30.04/hour and goes up to $45.53/hour

Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.  

FTE:  1.0 (40 hours/week); Hourly
