About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a QA Test Engineer to join us. The QA Test Engineer within Application Development under the Infrastructure Services Line of Business is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of enterprise applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will develop, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts—including functional, regression, and system integration testing—to validate software functionality against strict agency standards and user requirements.
- Candidate will collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to analyze requirements, document defects, track issues in Jira, and ensure Section 508 compliance and secure, high-quality deliverable for the federal customer.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience
- Education substitutions accepted per contract guidelines:
- Bachelor's Degree: 5-7 years experience
- Master's Degree: 3-5 years experience
- PHD: 0-2 year experience
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Proficiency in SQL for backend database validation.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, JMeter).
- Familiarity with API testing (REST, SOAP).
- Prefer ISTQB Certification (International Software Testing Qualifications Board).
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience testing in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility testing tools
Background Requirements: Must possess or be eligible to obtain and successfully complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
