QA Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our team dedicated to developing innovative retail solutions that enhance the shopping experience for consumers and optimize operations for retailers.
As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our retail solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, execute test plans, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various retail services
• Perform end-to-end testing to ensure the complete functionality of Hii Retail and Hii Fiscal services
• Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools and processes
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and functionality
• Support the automation of testing processes where applicable
• Utilize AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintain and update testing documentation to reflect changes and improvements
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and testing outcomes
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to quality assurance

• Familiarity with RESTful services and APIs
  
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus
• "Lightweight" programming skills to assist in test automation
• Knowledge of database concepts (SQL, NoSQL) and querying techniques
• Strong organizational skills with a structured approach to tasks
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Excellent communication skills in English
