Put Away Worker

As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves generating manifests, confirming customer and stock orders, and interpreting warehouse documents to identify items for movement and distribution. You will be responsible for opening cartons, sorting merchandise, and relocating items within the warehouse. Under direct supervision, you will receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products in accordance with established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Generate manifests to dispatch and confirm customer and stock orders.
• Interpret warehouse documents to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate items to designated areas.
• Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming items by part and quantity.
• Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to sequence.
• Prepare products for distribution within facilities.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on palettes, shelves, or conveyors.
• Arrange stock parts for assembly by other workers.
• Create and enter records for manifests on the warehouse computer system.

• Fluent in English: read, write, and speak.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling, and RF scanning.

• 0-6 months of warehouse experience is preferred.
• No certification required; certification on CROWN trucks provided upon permanent hire.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced warehouse with narrow aisles, where forklifts and hand carts are used for navigation. Safety is a top priority. The warehouse is a non-climate-controlled environment, and closed-toe shoes are required. Please note that cellphones and electronics are not permitted in the warehouse.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Flower Mound,TX.
