JOBSUMMARY

Oversees the GBI’s interactions with the public via social media through implementing content strategies on GBI social media platforms. Assists with general duties of the Public & Governmental Affairs Office.


PRIMARYDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop social media strategies for GBI social mediaplatforms.
  • Create content for all GBI social media platforms (graphics, videos, carousels, written post,etc.)
  • Manage communication with public via socialmedia.
  • Analyze and identify trends in audience engagement and direct strategies based on thisdata.
  • Assist with editing and writing newreleases.
  • Respond to incoming medialinquiries.
  • Manage GBIPodcast
  • Coordinate with and supervise interns.

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:

The incumbent will occasionally be required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel. Occasionally light lifting/or moving boxes or supplies may be required.


WORKENVIRONMENT:

This position requires the incumbent to work in an office setting with other professionals.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityORThree years of communications or related experience.
