Licensed Clinical Psychologist – Chronic Pain & Behavioral Medicine


📍 Sacramento, CA | 💼 Full-Time | 🕓 Mon–Fri, 8AM–4PM | 💰 $110K–$170K DOE


Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote after initial training period of up to 90 days.


A leading behavioral medicine and chronic pain management practice in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join its collaborative, patient-focused team. This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, compassionate care for patients with chronic pain and behavioral health needs.


About the Role

As part of a multidisciplinary care team, you will:

  • Conduct psychological assessments for chronic pain and outpatient programs
  • Provide individual and group therapy focused on wellness, resilience, and pain coping strategies
  • Deliver behavioral interventions using CBT, ACT, mindfulness, DBT, biofeedback
  • Facilitate group sessions on stress management, wellness, and pain education
  • Prepare clinical documentation, treatment plans, and reports
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, and behavioral health professionals


Schedule & Work Environment

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Hybrid: 4 days onsite in Sacramento + 1 day remote
  • No evenings or weekends required

Qualifications (MUST HAVE)

  • California Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD required)
  • Experience in chronic pain, behavioral medicine, or health psychology
  • Workers comp experience
  • Skilled in evidence-based therapies: CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, biofeedback
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Based in the Sacramento and surrounding area
  • Spanish bilingual a plus, not required


Compensation & Benefits

  • $110,000 – $170,000 DOE
