AMETEK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex projects within our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Quality, Production, and other internal teams to meet project goals.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
Monitor project performance and ensure alignment with short- and long-term objectives.
Lead equipment installation and integration efforts, resolving technical and scheduling challenges.
Ensure compliance with international, military, and domestic regulations, including AS9100 standards.
Support contract negotiations and assist with certifications, licenses, and insurance documentation.
Identify and mitigate risks, proactively recommending solutions to keep projects on track.
Manage inventory movement between business units as needed.
Provide regular updates to customers, leadership, and internal stakeholders.
Promote and enforce safety and security procedures across all project activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
5–7 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with product design, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Strong business judgment, ethical work habits, and attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoot down to component level using gauges and test equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Quantum or similar.
Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
