Project Manager

The Project Manager oversees customer orders from initiation through completion, serving as the primary point of contact for sales representatives, distributors, and direct customers. This role processes customer orders using ERP and CRM systems and ensures that ERP data, production jobs, purchasing activities, and inventory records remain fully aligned and operating smoothly within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for sales representatives, distributors, and direct customers throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using ERP and CRM systems.
• Manage purchase order receipts to ensure timely and correct entry into the ERP system.
• Create jobs in the ERP system, including stock, sales, and subcontract jobs, in alignment with production and customer requirements.
• Review jobs for time accuracy and completion to support reliable scheduling and cost tracking.
• Perform job closing and job costing reviews to ensure accurate financial and operational reporting.
• Support and monitor cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Contribute to inventory accuracy by identifying and resolving discrepancies in coordination with relevant teams.
• Collaborate closely with production, purchasing, and other internal teams to keep operations synchronized and running smoothly.
• Use Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage data, documentation, and communications related to projects and customer orders.
• Provide responsive, professional customer service to address inquiries, resolve issues, and support ongoing customer relationships.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 6 months of customer service-related experience.
• At least 6 months of experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP software in an operational or order-processing context.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and customer orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with sales representatives, distributors, direct customers, and internal teams.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills to support timely job creation, review, and closing.
• Comfort working extensively within business systems to maintain accurate operational and business data.

• Epicor ERP experience is highly preferred, particularly in a role that supports operations and data accuracy.
• Previous experience in a project coordination or project management capacity within manufacturing is beneficial.
• Proficiency with CRM systems to support customer interactions and order tracking.
• Ability to analyze job costing and inventory data to help identify discrepancies or process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving order, job, or inventory issues.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment within a manufacturing-focused organization. You will work extensively with ERP and CRM systems, including Epicor ERP if available, as well as standard office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. The role involves regular collaboration with internal departments such as production and purchasing, as well as ongoing communication with external customers, sales representatives, and distributors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rogers, MN.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rogers,MN.
