The Keller Group is excited to support our Phoenix-based client in their search for a Project Manager - Commercial Real Estate Development. This is a high-visibility, hands-on development role supporting a fast-paced real estate investment and construction environment. As a key member of the Development & Construction team, you will own the day-to-day execution of multiple projects simultaneously while serving as the primary point of coordination between internal leadership, contractors, consultants, tenants, and external partners.


This role will join a highly entrepreneurial, growing organization with a strong pipeline of ground-up and tenant improvement projects across Arizona and beyond. It offers significant ownership, exposure to the full development lifecycle, and long-term growth potential within a dynamic and expanding platform.


WHAT YOU’LL OWN

  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent commercial real estate development projects from concept through completion
  • Oversee ground-up construction and tenant improvement (TI) projects across various stages of the development lifecycle
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to establish budgets, schedules, and execution plans
  • Drive entitlement, permitting, and pre-construction activities in partnership with city officials and design teams
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality control to ensure successful delivery across all phases
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, internal leadership, lenders, and capital partners
  • Oversee general contractors and construction managers while maintaining owner-side accountability
  • Prepare project reporting, status updates, and risk assessments for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support draw requests, lender coordination, and financial tracking in partnership with capital sources
  • Identify and resolve project issues quickly while maintaining strong forward momentum across active builds


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate development, construction management, or related project management roles
  • Strong background in both ground-up construction and tenant improvement projects
  • Experience working with or for developers, owner’s representatives, or general contractors strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with entitlements, permitting, and municipal coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with strong organizational discipline
  • Comfort operating across both field-level execution and executive-level communication
  • Strong budgeting and cost management experience across commercial construction projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Asana, or MS Project a plus
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven approach to project execution
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly with leadership, tenants, and external partners
