QP Group are currently partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in the water / wastewater infrastructure space to appoint a Project Manager.
This is a business-critical, multi-faceted role supporting the delivery of engineered equipment and system solutions across municipal and commercial projects. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys being at the center of operations - balancing technical coordination, customer interaction, and commercial responsibility.
The Opportunity:
You’ll take ownership of projects from initial enquiry through to delivery, acting as the key liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
This is not a purely administrative role - you’ll be expected to think commercially, solve problems, and keep projects moving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from RFQ through to completion
- Prepare and manage quotes, proposals, and technical submittals
- Interpret project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers on lead times, pricing, and product selection
- Support the outside sales team with project tracking and follow-ups
- Oversee order entry, purchasing, scheduling, and logistics coordination
- Act as a point of contact for contractors, engineers, and municipal clients
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain accurate records within CRM/ERP systems
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–10 years’ experience in inside sales, project coordination, or project management within a technical or construction-related industry
- Background in water/wastewater, pumps, mechanical systems, utilities, or industrial equipment highly preferred
- Experience working with contractors, engineers, or public sector clients is a strong advantage
- Ability to read or interpret technical specifications or drawings
- Strong commercial awareness (pricing, margins, customer management)
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
