Project Manager

As a Group Program Development Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of new product introduction (NPI) projects within the busbar business unit. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality, manufacturing, procurement, and product management, you will ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, resources, and risks, facilitating clear stakeholder communication, and driving alignment across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development programs from concept through launch, including scoping, design, prototyping, testing, validation, industrialization, and mass production ramp-up.
• Define and drive program schedules, budgets, resources, engineering deliverables, and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate regular cross-functional program reviews involving design, quality, manufacturing, procurement, and business development.
• Coordinate with global teams, suppliers, and customers to align technical specifications, schedules, and change control.
• Monitor and report on program performance metrics including timing, costs, quality, yield, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify potential technical or supply chain risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively escalate issues.
• Address and resolve differing perspectives between teams such as product management, manufacturing, and procurement due to the cross-functional nature of the role, ensuring alignment and fostering effective collaboration across all departments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Monee, IL.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
