Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of business systems initiatives that support key organizational objectives and ongoing operations. This individual will be responsible for managing projects across the full lifecycle—from planning and estimation through execution, implementation, and transition to support.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring close partnership with business stakeholders, internal technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery of scalable, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine project plans to align with evolving business needs
- Lead full lifecycle project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resource management
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics
- Manage and coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver cost-effective solutions
- Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders, including leadership and PMO
- Apply and enforce project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and drive operational efficiencies
- Ensure smooth implementation and transition of solutions into production support environments
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and recommend best practices for project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; PMP or other project management certification preferred
- 5–8+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis
- Proven experience managing multiple projects of varying size and complexity
- Strong background in SDLC methodologies, including both Agile and Waterfall
- Demonstrated experience with vendor management and cross-functional team leadership
- Experience managing project budgets and delivering full lifecycle implementations
- Strong business process knowledge and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level interaction
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
- Scrum Master certification and Agile experience are highly desirable
