Project Manager - Agricultural and Industrial Construction

Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to the execution of large-scale agricultural and industrial construction projects. This role focuses on managing all aspects of project delivery, from initial client meetings to the completion of high-impact facilities. This position has room for growth!

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, conducting meetings, providing progress updates, and managing expectations.
  • Own project KPIs, including schedule, cost, productivity, safety, and quality.
  • Manage grading and earthwork, including cut/fill operations and underground utility coordination.
  • Oversee large-scale concrete formwork and pours, including 10-foot elements supporting major steel columns.
  • Coordinate structural steel erection with foundations and downstream trades.
  • Manage and sequence the installation of advanced systems: automated feedlines, water lines, heavy electrical, ventilation ductwork, and airflow systems.

Essential Skills

  • General construction knowledge
  • Construction management skills, particularly in an industrial environment such as food/beverage and livestock.
  • Experience with heavy earth moving and foundational concrete footings.
  • Leadership experience with field crews in construction.
  • Strong, hands-on expertise in grading, earthwork, concrete formwork, foundations, and structural steel coordination.
  • Understanding of underground utilities, water lines, heavy electrical systems, and ventilation ductwork/airflow systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial construction and commercial construction.

Work Environment

This is an onsite travel role with a 10 days on / 4 days off rotation for optimal work-life balance. Projects are located in Sioux Falls, Aberdeen, and Detroit Lakes (Minnesota), with primarily regional travel allowing you to be home more often. Per diem is provided and all travel expenses are covered. Engage in long-term, high-impact agricultural and industrial projects with a well-established company. These major facilities range in budget from 50 million to 150 million.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Millard, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145000.00/hr.
