We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within a financial services environment. This role will partner closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and operational priorities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and skilled at managing complex initiatives in a fast‑paced, results‑driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive and senior leadership to define project goals, success metrics, scope, timelines, and budget expectations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans that clearly outline deliverables, dependencies, risks, and out‑of‑scope items to ensure alignment.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams by setting clear expectations, assigning responsibilities, and providing ongoing direction and support.
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, and budgets using project management tools; proactively identify issues and drive timely resolution.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership with clarity and consistency.
  • Manage scope changes through established change management processes, assessing impacts on timeline, resources, and cost.
  • Facilitate structured project meetings with clear objectives, cadence, and outcomes to maintain momentum and accountability.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and protect project objectives.
  • Coordinate internal resources, technology solutions, and external vendors to support successful project execution.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, status reports, meeting notes, and executive summaries.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on project status, performance metrics, and key dependencies.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Ideal Candidate Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within financial services or wealth management.
  • Strong understanding of financial services operations, products, and business practices.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.
  • MBA or advanced project management credentials strongly preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
