Project Estimator

We’re looking for a hands-on Restoration Estimator / Project Manager who can confidently manage residential projects from initial estimate through final completion. This role requires experience across mitigation and reconstruction, strong estimating skills, and the ability to keep multiple jobs moving efficiently and profitably.

What You’ll Do

• Create accurate, detailed, and defensible Xactimate estimates (Level 2+ preferred)
• Manage water, fire, mold, and reconstruction projects from start to finish
• Supervise mitigation crews and coordinate subcontractors
• Handle insurance program (TPA) and residential losses
• Communicate effectively with adjusters, clients, and internal teams
• Ensure projects stay on schedule, properly documented, and within budget
• Track job progress, approvals, and documentation to maintain profitability

Tools & Systems You’ll Use

• Xactimate – estimating, scoping, and pricing
• DASH – job management, approvals, and documentation
• Docusketch – initial, progress, and post-mitigation scans
• Microsoft Teams & Office Suite – communication, reporting, and documentation
• Photo and documentation platforms (CompanyCam or similar)

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in restoration estimating and project management
• Xactimate experience required
• An established subcontractor base - framers, painters, plumbers, electrical
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to close leads and convert opportunities into active projects
• Confident defending estimates with insurance adjusters
• Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and accountability

• Existing book of business
• Large-loss or commercial project experience
• IICRC and/or RIA certifications preferred
