An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Project Engineer for the JSOC Microgrid project at Fort Bragg, North Carolina . This is an opportunity to join a well -established organization that has been providing military -grade project management nationwide for over 50 years . As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for: • Assisting the Project Manager in the administration of the contract. • Performing field observations/inspections of the work performed by subcontractors and suppliers for compliance with the drawings and specifications. • Ensuring the timely receipt and review of submittals. • Participating in weekly coordination and other quality control meetings. • Assisting in the preparation of the Daily Reports. • Reviewing Requests for Information (“RFI”) from subcontractors and suppliers, and prepare RFIs for review by the Quality Control Manager and submission to the client. • Performing monthly update of progress for updating the Project Schedule • Performing research, including detailed review of reference standards and other sources, to provide recommendations for resolution of project issues. • Assisting in the verification of completion of construction deficiencies. • Assisting the Quality Control Manager in the project close -out. The successful candidate must be an engineer or construction management graduate with a minimum of five (5) years of ground -up construction experience inspecting various features of work , including civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural.
