This role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about civil and water/wastewater infrastructure design and is interested in progressing toward a project management track. You'll play a key technical role on multidisciplinary teams delivering complex municipal and utility projects throughout New England and across the U.S.

� Position Summary:
The Project Engineer (Civil PE) is responsible for supporting the technical delivery of water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure projects from design through construction. This role focuses on performing engineering analyses, developing design documents, and ensuring accuracy and quality across project deliverables.

Essential Functions:
Support the planning and design of water/wastewater treatment, distribution/conveyance, and pumping systems
Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe and equipment sizing, and detailed civil design
Prepare construction documents including drawings, technical specifications, reports, and cost estimates
Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure design quality and technical accuracy
Review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs during construction phases
Assist with site visits, field investigations, and occasional construction observation
Work closely with CAD designers, junior engineers, and other technical staff
Gain exposure to task management and client interaction to grow toward a PM role

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering�
Professional Engineer (PE) license
5+ years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure or water/wastewater projects
Strong technical background in one or more of the following: site grading, utilities, hydraulics, treatment processes, or stormwater systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with Revit, InfoWater/InfoWorks, or similar tools is a plus
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel (~15%) to project sites and client meetings
